These terms apply to services provided by AfterInstall Desk, operated by Erik Gershfeld, based in Cullman, Alabama, and available to businesses across the United States. A signed service agreement, if you have one, controls over these terms.

What we do

We prepare and submit warranty registrations, utility rebate paperwork (for example TVA EnergyRight and other regional programs) and manufacturer co-op advertising claims based on information you give us. We're an administrative service. We are not a CPA firm, law firm, tax advisor, insurer, utility or manufacturer, and nothing we provide is tax, legal or financial advice.

No guarantee of outcome

Approval, amount and timing of any warranty coverage, rebate or co-op reimbursement are decided solely by the manufacturer, utility (including TVA), or program administrator. We don't guarantee any rebate, reimbursement, savings or approval.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of what you send us, for having your customers' permission to share their information for these filings, for meeting program eligibility and installation requirements, and for any certifications or signatures a program requires from you.

Fees and cancellation

Fees are as listed on our website or in your written quote. The free trial covers up to 5 installs. Monthly plans renew monthly and may be canceled any time before the next billing date. Per-filing fees are earned when the filing is submitted.

Fixes and limitation of liability

If we make an error, we'll correct and refile at no charge where the program allows it. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected filing(s) in the 3 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost rebates, reimbursements, profits or warranty coverage.

Independence

AfterInstall Desk is an independent business. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of TVA, any local power company, any manufacturer or any other employer of its owner.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.
