Privacy Policy

Draft template, not legal advice. Have this reviewed before relying on it. Last updated: [DATE].

AfterInstall Desk ("we", "us") is operated by Erik Gershfeld from Cullman, Alabama, and serves businesses across the United States. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

Information you send through our online signup form or by email or text (name, shop name, email, phone, city/county, brands, power company, install volume, how you prefer to send jobs, and any notes). If you become a client, we also collect job and equipment details, customer names and addresses, invoices, advertising invoices and proof-of-performance materials needed to file for you.

How we use it

Only to answer your inquiry, provide the services you ask for, file registrations, rebates and claims for you, bill you, and meet legal obligations. We don't sell personal information, and we don't market to your customers.

Who we share it with

The manufacturers, utilities and utility rebate programs (such as TVA EnergyRight), and co-op administrators you ask us to file with, plus service providers that help us run the business (for example our form-delivery service, email, file storage and card billing), under confidentiality obligations. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Retention and security

We keep client records for as long as you're a client and for a reasonable period afterward for warranty and claim follow-up, then delete or return them on request. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to view, correct or delete your information, or stop contacting you, by emailing hello@afterinstalldesk.com. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link and our mailing address.

Website

This site doesn't use advertising trackers. If we add analytics later, we'll update this page.
